Attention: At this time, staff requests all applicants complete a consultation before beginning a grant application. Email our team or call the office to schedule a session.
RAF actively pursues our vision of a thriving Rockingham County in partnership with our grantees. We work in three key funding areas: education, health, and community development. We work closely with our grantees to support quality early childhood services, a robust public education system, and prosperous and healthy local communities. We support potentially transformative programs and initiatives that build bridges and create pathways to success for residents of all ages, ethnicities, and abilities.
If your organization is a public charity, governmental unit, or public institution and you share our vision for a progressive Rockingham County that offers opportunities for all residents, we'd love to talk about how we might work together. We only fund projects that benefit residents of Rockingham County and your work must align with one of our focus areas: education, health and wellness, or community development. We do not provide grants to individuals or religious organizations.
We accept online grant applications at any time. Funding decisions are made in late October, December, February, April, June, and August. Applications should be received by the first day of the month in order to be considered by the Board of Directors. Applications received after the first of the month (Oct, Dec, Feb, April, June and Aug) will be considered at the next Board meeting.
While we accept online funding applications at any time, we are always available to discuss your project with you prior to submission, especially if you are a first-time applicant to the Reidsville Area Foundation. Please call us at 336-634-1669 in order to schedule a grant consultation and to discuss whether your project and your organization's vision and goals align with our vision.
Applicants can access our online application here. Download the required project budget form here. You will need to upload the completed and saved project budget form, along with a copy of your annual budget and a list of your organization's Board of Directors. If you are reporting on a completed grant, download the final report form here and the expenditure report here.
If you have any trouble accessing our online grant application or project budget form, please contact Tango Moore, grants manager, for assistance. We are always happy to discuss grant ideas, particularly with new grantees, and to help navigate the application process.
